To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience when booking our packages and gazebos, we have established a set of Terms and Conditions. These guidelines outline the rules and regulations for reserving and using our event packages and gazebo spaces. By booking with us, you agree to comply with these terms. We encourage you to read them carefully to make your experience as seamless as possible. Thank you for choosing Isle of Party – let’s make every celebration unforgettable!
Terms & Conditions
The Isle of Party requires all persons hiring its equipment to read, understand and accept the enclosed Terms and Conditions of Hire. If you the hirer are unclear about any aspect of the Terms and Conditions you should seek clarification from Isle of Party.
Definitions:
The ‘Owner’ is ‘Isle of Party’.
The ‘Hirer’ is the company or person stated on the booking form.
The ‘Equipment’ includes but is not limited to; the marquee, gazebo, lights, LED Furniture, heaters, LED Numbers, tables & chairs, projector, screen, popcorn machine/candy floss machine, marquee leg weights and other accessories associated with the hire of the equipment. The equipment will be deemed to be in good order unless the hirer informs Isle of Party at the time of delivery and erection.
Extent of Contract: Whilst isle of Party will endeavour to provide equipment to help facilitate an excellent event experience, no warranty or guarantee is given that the equipment hired will meet the intended purposes of the hirer as this could be subjective.
Deliver and Collection of Equipment:

Any delivery costs will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.

Equipment delivery and collection slots will be confirmed with you 24-48 hours before your booking date. The delivery of the equipment could be 1-2 days before the event or even on the morning of the event. Isle of Party will liaise and agree with the hirer in relation to this.

The hire of equipment is for a 24 hour period.

The hirer must be available at the event ‘site’ upon delivery and collection of the equipment. The hirer will need to specify exactly where the marquee(s) are to be set up. Please note, it may not be possible to erect the marquee up to a property door.

Out technicians will need to show the hirer how to operate specific equipment upon delivery and erection of the equipment.

Please ensure that there is a power supply available as close as possible to the intended location of the marquee(s). The power supply should be no more than 20 metres away from the marquee(s) ideally closer.

Please specify whether Isle of Party will have access to a hose pipe or an outside tap close to the intended location of the marquee(s) as some of the marquee legs may be weighted down with water containers.

Once the marquee(s) have been set up in the hirer’s initial desired location no further changes to the marque(s) position can be made.

If Isle of Party is not able to deliver your equipment for your event and possible reasons for this could include; adverse weather conditions, illness, or vehicle failure you will be informed at the earliest opportunity. In this scenario you will be given a full refund.
The Hirers Responsibility:

The hirer is responsible for ensuring that there is sufficient space for the erection of the requested marquee(s) in the intended location.

The intended location of the marquee(s) should be as level and flat as possible and clear of obstructions and debris.

The hirer, during the period of hire is responsible for the safe custody of the hired equipment from the completion of the marquee(s) erection until dismantling.

The hirer must be satisfied with the equipment before use and should notify Isle of Party of any defects with the equipment or incorrect deliveries prior to use.

It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure there is a robust W-fi or Bluetooth connection that will link into any hired equipment that requires Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Any failure of the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection will not be the responsibility of Isle of Party.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring that any official licence to view is in place for the Cinema/Sports Projector packages.

All equipment shall be returned to us clean and in the same condition as upon delivery. The company reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of £50.00 if the marquee or equipment is returned to us in a dirty state and must be fully cleaned. If any equipment is returned stained or damaged we reserve the right to charge you for our reasonable costs and expenses to repair or replace the equipment.

The company reserves the right to charge the hirer the full replacement cost of such equipment if it becomes accidentally damaged, lost or stolen during the period of hire.

The hirer should keep the marquee(s) closed when not in use and keep the supplied equipment secure prior to use.

The hirer is responsible for preventing unauthorised access to the marquee(s) and equipment both prior to use and during use.

The hirer should not tamper with the marquee(s) structure or any of the equipment supplied. The hirer should not fix any items to the marquee(s) structure without prior permission as this could damage the framework.

Any accidental or deliberate damage to the marquee(s) or supplied equipment will need to be paid for by the hirer. Any stolen equipment will need to be paid for by the hirer.

No internal equipment should be removed from the marquee(s) and taken outside, for example, lights, heater, music system, LED Numbers, and internal chairs.
-
The hirer is responsible for ensuring the venue has a sufficient power supply, plug sockets and connectors for the equipment hired.
-
The hirer should not use any lighting, heating, cooking or any personal gas or electrical appliances of any kind inside the marquee(s).
-
Strictly no naked flames or smoking is permitted inside the marquee(s). Do not use any naked flames within (5) metres of the supplied equipment, this includes BBQ’s.

Any cigarette/flame/sparks or smoke damage to the supplied equipment will need to be paid for by the hirer
-
No animals are permitted inside the marquee(s) or near any supplied equipment.

Children must be closely supervised at all times in and around the marquee(s) and the supplied equipment.

No Party Poppers are permitted inside the marquee(s).

The hirer will take adequate care of the equipment during the period of hire.

The hirer should periodically check the guy ropes of the marquee(s) to ensure that they are still taught, especially during inclement weather conditions. The securing pegs that are driven into the ground may become loose in wet soil and grass. Please report any concerns to Isle of Party who will advise accordingly.

No swinging from the canopy roof structure frame is permitted. Any damage caused by customer(s) guests swinging from the canopy roof structure will need to be paid for by the hirer. This could result in a requirement for the marquee to be completely replaced.

Any rubbish, food and drink items are to be fully cleared from the marquee(s) prior to the equipment being collected. Any hired tables are to be wiped down and cleaned prior to collection.

No hired equipment should be removed from the site.

Isle of Party is not under any liability whatsoever in respect of damage to drains, pipes or cables or other services buried under the site or otherwise concealed or any consequential loss resulting from such damage unless an accurate plan showing the precise position of such drains, pipes or cables or other services shall have been supplied to the company.

Any items left for Isle of Party to remove could incur further charges or loss of security deposit.

Isle of Party is not liable for any accidents that may occur during the period of hire. The hirer accepts full responsibility for the safety of the persons attending the event and the safe use of the equipment supplied. We will not be liable for any claim for personal injury, death, loss or damage to the property, however caused.

The hirer making the booking must be at least 18 years of age.

Some of the equipment hired may be battery operated, for example, the LED Furniture. The equipment will be delivered fully charged but depending upon the length of the event, no guarantee can be given that the charge will last for the duration of your event.

If the marquee(s) are to be erected on a lawn, the ground cover is likely to leave a yellow compression mark on the grass after it is taken away. The grass should however make a full recovery after a period of time. Isle of Party will not be liable for any damage to grass lawns.

The hirer shall not remove any labels from or interfere with the equipment, their working mechanisms or any part of them and shall take care of the equipment whilst on hire.

The hirer should inform Isle of Party at the earliest opportunity if strong winds start to adversely affect the marquee(s). Further advice will then be given.

Prior to the commencement of the booking, the hirer is responsible for obtaining any permits or licences from any Authorities and this may include, but not limited to (Government Departments, Local Authorities, Police, Fire, Planning). Any costs associated with obtaining any necessary licence/permit/permission shall be paid for by the hirer. Should any delay or cancellation of the hire occur in relation to such permits or licences, all fees including cancellation fees (according to cancellation policy) will be paid for by the hirer. Isle of Party must be notified of any requirement for licences/permits no less than 1 month prior to the hire period.
Payment Terms

A booking may only be deemed valid once the hirer is in receipt of a booking confirmation from Isle of Party. To secure a booking a 50% deposit is required for the total booking price. The booking confirmation will be issued once the initial booking deposit has been paid.

The remaining 50% hire fee will be paid no later than 14 days prior to the booking date.

A £100.00 fully refundable damage waiver deposit is payable with the remaining booking fee and this will be refunded if the equipment is fully returned undamaged. Should any equipment be unreturned or damaged during the hire period, the repair/replacement cost will be deducted from the hirer’s security deposit. If the repair/replacement cost exceeds the security deposit the hirer will be responsible for the remaining cost to repair/replace the damaged/missing equipment.

Any bookings that are made within 14 days of the actual event date the full balance must be paid to secure the booking along with the security deposit.

It is possible that the equipment that you have pre-booked may have been lost or damaged by the previous hirer. In either event Isle of Party will endeavour to provide the hirer with equipment of at least the same quality & value as that ordered. Should the hirer not wish to take the alternative equipment offered the hirer will be entitled to a full refund for the equipment that can’t be supplied. However, Isle of Party accepts no further liability.
Cancellation Policy

The booking deposit is non-refundable for any cancellations.

Event cancellations under 14 days prior to the event will be liable for the full hire cost.

Upon arrival for set up if we ascertain that there isn’t sufficient space for the requested marquee(s), or the ground surface is inappropriate or inaccessible the hirer will be responsible for the full hire fee.

The company reserves the right to refuse to hire equipment to any customer with whom it does not wish to enter into any contractual arrangement. The company reserves the right to cancel a contract at any time and without notice, whereupon it will refund to the hirer any monies paid. Following such a refund, no further liability will exist between the hirer and Isle of Party.
Weather Cancellations

If extreme weather is forecast prior to the booking or during the hire and set up period, we reserve the right to cancel the hire of the marquee(s). Strong winds could specifically lead to cancellations. This is for the safety of all concerned and also to prevent damage to the equipment. If Isle of Party makes the decision to cancel a booking due to extreme weather conditions or strong winds the hirer will be given a full refund.

Hirers will however incur the full hire fee charges in the event of a late customer cancellation due to unpleasant weather conditions. For example, heavy rain or cold days are not deemed as an extreme weather event. As the hirer, you must be aware of the possibility of unpleasant weather, especially during the winter months.

Isle of Party has the final decision in all matters relating to the above terms and conditions.
